Cirriculum Vitae

STATEMENT

Sculptor Jim West is a Visionary. Art education and in-depth questions are deeply studied within each piece. His art draws inspiration from a deep contemplation of the natural world, human emotions, or the resonances of a historical situation. West has the ability to listen to a story, and to understand the narrative that needs to be told. His works of art are intensely thought-provoking and ask the tenacious questions. The viewer pauses for the “The Second Take”; Art to be read at many levels. West specializes in contemporary, abstract, interactive and commissioned work and has the expertise in delivering large-scale installations for public and private art collections, museums and galleries.
